International Women’s Day – A day for recognising the power, strength and determination of women.
Our message at MASH is simple: We will be there until all women have freedom, choice, and power.
We have a Drop-in Centre where any woman who sex works can get support from our staff and volunteers, whether it is a cuppa or vital emotional support. Women can also receive support in this way at local saunas and also from the outreach van at night. Any woman working can jump on board and access sexual health support like condoms or visit our clinic at the Centre for a sexual health screening. Our caseworkers also empower our women, taking them to medical appointments, court hearings; anything the women need we are here for.
We work to make sure all of the women we work with recognise their strength and that they understand we are there for them every step of the way. We want to boost their confidence to know that they are worthy of love and support.
