Drugs & Alcohol

If you’d like some advice and support when it comes to drugs and alcohol, we can help. Our case workers are here to offer you support, whether you need someone to talk to, or you’d like to seek further help.

Talk to Us

The support from MASH staff is non-judgemental, free and available to all women who are sex working. Our case workers are available if you would like further support, or to talk confidentially about drugs and alcohol use.

No appointment is need to attend the drop-in which is open Monday – Thursday 3pm – 6pm and Fridays 12.30pm – 3.30pm.

MASH Needle Exchange

MASH also offers a needle exchange service at the Drop-In and on the outreach van (four evenings per week). The van travels around the city centre and Cheetham Hill on Tuesday – Friday between 8pm and midnight.

This service is free and we won’t judge you, or make you feel uncomfortable in any way.

We are MASH

For 30 years, MASH has stood by women who are sex working or thinking about it, offering non-judgemental support to improve health, safety and wellbeing.

We take MASH to women where they are at, offering support from our drop-in centre, our MASH van, in Manchester city centre, in saunas and via phone calls and home visits.

Women tell us that MASH helps them to feel safer, listened to, empowered and that in many cases it is a ‘lifeline’.
