It’s our 35 Anniversary at MASH.
35 years since a small collective of volunteers ventured into Manchester city centre with flasks of hot coffee, free condoms and time to listen.
One thing that hasn’t changed in 35 years is the power of community. It feels like we need this just as much as MASH did in 1991, maybe even more.
Our birthday wish is to find 35 people who will set up a monthly donation to MASH, of whatever they can give.
The coming year is set to be one of our busiest ever. And we want to make sure we can support every single woman who needs a lifeline.
You can make this a reality by setting up a monthly gift to MASH today.
When you set up your birthday gift, you’ll be joining Friends of MASH, a collective of kind supporters who have taken that step to make a regular donation to fund MASH’s vital services.
Why are monthly donations an amazing way to show your support to women in Greater Manchester?
The best thing is that we can use your funds based on someone’s needs in the moment and enable MASH to show up consistently and for the long-term.
These are some examples of how amazing monthly donors have directly helped women recently;
- A dressing gown and PJs for a woman who was going into hospital, distressed and had nothing to sleep in
- A new pair of comfy trainers and a pack of socks for a woman who’d been walking around in ill-fitting shoes which were giving her painful blisters
- A mobile phone with credit for someone whose phone was stolen, leaving them isolated and unsafe
The certainty of your regular gift gives us the confidence to plan for the future – safe in the knowledge that, together, we are here for those who need and deserve care.
Help make a difference and start your monthly donation today.
