Thank you so much for your interest in working at MASH. Our aim is that everyone who works at or with MASH feels valued, taken care of and celebrated.

We are continuously working on this, including through our strategic ambition to create a progressive and inclusive culture at MASH. All individuals regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage, civil partnerships, race, religion, or belief, sex and sexual orientation are encouraged to apply when we advertise a new role.

As an inclusive employer, we are here to support you and are happy to consider reasonable adjustments if needed if you join our team.

Our goal is to ensure that we have a diverse team with a range of lived and professional experience. Our internal monitoring shows that people of colour, people with disabilities, people with a lived experience of sex work and people from refugee and migrant communities are underrepresented in our workforce, and therefore we particularly welcome applications from these communities.

Some benefits that we offer at MASH are:

• Hybrid working – both homeworking and office (role dependent)

• Flexible working hours and TOIL (time off in lieu)

• Access to training and development

• A wellbeing programme including up to eight sessions of talking therapies each year

• Excellent supervision and support

• Two team away days each year where we take time away from the day job to reflect and connect

• Regular staff-led socials

We are MASH

For 30 years, MASH has stood by women who are sex working or thinking about it, offering non-judgemental support to improve health, safety and wellbeing.

We take MASH to women where they are at, offering support from our drop-in centre, our MASH van, in Manchester city centre, in saunas and via phone calls and home visits.

Women tell us that MASH helps them to feel safer, listened to, empowered and that in many cases it is a ‘lifeline’.
