We’d like to tell you about Paige*. (TW) We have known and supported Paige for many years at MASH.
Last year, she buzzed at the door of the MASH drop-in. It was the day she fled her violent 15-year relationship. When she stepped inside, Paige told us.
“MASH was the only safe place I could think of to come.”
Paige only had the clothes she was standing in and a tiny bag of belongings.
Thanks to MASH supporters like you, Paige could get a food parcel and transport to an emergency refuge. She had the support of MASH’s team over many months, culminating in her move to a permanent, safe home.
“If it wasn’t for the MASH drop-in centre, I wouldn’t have known where to turn to.”
Paige’s story is sadly not an unusual one. The MASH drop-in centre is, in a word, vital.
